Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has recently partnered with YunusEmre Institute, Türkiye. The collaboration was sealed with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between MANUU and YunusEmre Institute. The MoU was signed by MANUU’s Vice Chancellor, Prof.SyedAinul Hasan, the Registrar, Prof. Sk. Ishtiaque Ahmed, and Consul General of TürkiyeOrhanYalmanOkan, representing YunusEmre Institute.
This partnership aims to foster academic and cultural exchanges between the two institutions. It will facilitate visits by academic and administrative staff for lectures, research collaborations, joint projects, and cultural activities. The partnership also includes student exchanges, as well as the exchange of resident and non-resident faculty members. The focus of these exchanges will primarily be on science diplomacy and capacity building in educational, academic, cultural, and scientific matters.
In addition to these exchanges, the partnership will also provide technical assistance as needed. This collaboration falls under the scope of the University missions and the Academic and Scientific Cooperation Project of Türkiye.
