Hyderabad’s Labour Minister, Ch Malla Reddy, has denied the allegations that his party, BRS, is a B-team of national parties. He stated that their party chief, K Chandrashekar Rao, is fighting against both Congress and BJP and has a good chance of becoming the Prime Minister. In an interview with The Hans India, Malla Reddy explained that the BRS party is not a B-team as they are actively opposing Congress and BJP. He believes that if BJP’s numbers decrease in the next election, CM KCR has a bright chance of becoming the Prime Minister. He also mentioned that the opposition parties in Telangana, Congress and BJP, are no match for BRS and that the party is gaining popularity.
Malla Reddy praised CM KCR for his leadership and stated that he has taken the state to the number one position in all aspects. He compared Telangana’s facilities and schemes with those of BJP-ruled states and claimed that Telangana has better facilities. He dismissed the Congress party’s guarantees, questioning who would ensure that they are fulfilled. He also responded to allegations that BRS copied its manifesto from Congress by highlighting the differences in pension amounts and the presence of schemes like RythuBandhu and RythuBeema in Telangana.
Regarding development in his constituency, Malla Reddy mentioned that he has the largest constituency with six lakh voters. He highlighted the various public representatives and amenities in his constituency, emphasizing the improvements he has made. He mentioned his contribution to solving the problem of Jawaharnagar dumping yard and generating power from waste.
Malla Reddy addressed the issue of his family receiving two tickets and clarified that it happened in 2018 when his son-in-law contested as a Lok Sabha candidate. He claimed that Mynampally Hanumanth Rao voluntarily quit the party and accused him of planning it with Congress. Malla Reddy expressed confidence that both Mynampally and his son Rohit will lose in the upcoming elections.
Regarding supporting Telugu Desam Chief Chandrababu Naidu, Malla Reddy acknowledged that Naidu gave him a political life by providing him with a B-form from the largest Lok Sabha constituency. He expressed sadness over Naidu’s imprisonment and criticized BJP and YCP for conspiring against him.
