In a recent development, Manjula, the ZPTC of Rajanna-Sircilla District Tangallapally Mandal, and her husband Lingareddy, who is the president of the district cricket association, have resigned from BRS. Manjula has won twice as Tangallapalli ZPTC.
The couple cited lack of proper recognition in the party as the reason for their resignation. There are rumors that they will soon join the Congress party.
