The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) led tripartite alliance unveiled its manifesto called ‘Praja Galam’ in Amaravati. The manifesto combines the Super Six from TDP and the six-point ‘Shanmukha Vyuham’ from Jana Sena Party (JSP).
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) did not contribute to the manifesto but endorsed it. The manifesto includes promises like keeping Amaravati as the State Capital, providing Rs 10,000 honorarium for volunteers, completing the Polavaram project, abolishing the Land Titling Act, and offering pensions for the elderly and differently abled.
JSP chief Pawan Kalyan stated that the manifesto is based on feedback received through different platforms like Janavani and online representations. Former Chief Minister and TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu criticized the current government’s handling of finances and policies.
The manifesto includes several key points such as monthly assistance for women, financial aid for children, free gas cylinders, free bus travel for women, unemployment benefits, assistance to farmers, potable water supply, subsidized power for aqua farmers, house sites for urban and rural residents, free sand supply, financial aid for fishermen and small traders, special protections for BCs, reservations for BCs, welfare funds for Kapus, EWS reservations, free power for Dhobhi Ghats, digital libraries, life insurance for households, assistance for junior lawyers, a Haj house in Vijayawada for Muslims, and digital health cards for all.
