The Delhi Government is organizing a 3-day Mango Festival at Dilli Haat in Janakpuri. The festival aims to boost tourism and celebrate the “King of Fruits- Mangoes.” Visitors can explore different varieties of mangoes from all over the country and enjoy cultural programs and competitions related to mangoes. The Tourism Minister, Atishi, inaugurated the festival on Friday.

Atishi mentioned that the Mango Festival is a unique initiative by the Kejriwal government to promote tourism, introduce people to various types of mangoes, provide a platform for mango producers to expand their businesses, and encourage farmers to grow different varieties of mangoes. She also highlighted that the Delhi government frequently organizes events to showcase the city’s art, culture, and job opportunities.

Atishi emphasized that mangoes are associated with summers and childhood memories of mango-eating contests. The festival will allow people in metropolitan cities like Delhi to experience the journey of mangoes from orchard to plate and learn more about them. She urged all Delhi residents to attend the event and enjoy mangoes from across the country.
