Hyderabad Arrest: Man Taken into Custody for Trespassing and Attacks
The Moinabad police arrested a man on Tuesday for allegedly trespassing on a piece of land and attacking people. The suspect, identified as Syed Burhanuddin, had reportedly entered the property in Moinabad in 2023, along with his associates, and assaulted several individuals. He had been on the run since the incident.
According to police officials, Burhanuddin and his group not only entered the land unlawfully but also caused damage to the property. They destroyed items and a wall on the premises. “Burhanuddin and his associates attacked people at the scene with the intent to kill,” said Ch Srinivas, DCP of Rajendranagar.
A special team from the Cyberabad police tracked down and arrested Burhanuddin on Monday night. During the arrest, authorities seized various items, including a car, a cricket bat, an iron rod, and a hockey stick.
Further investigations revealed that Burhanuddin is involved in 13 criminal cases in Hyderabad and Cyberabad. Police also discovered that he has cases registered against him in Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. In those states, he allegedly cheated people by pretending to have connections with high-profile individuals. Burhanuddin was presented in court and has since been remanded.
