    Hyderabad: A 45-year-old man was rescued by the Disaster Response Force (DRF) teams of the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRA) after he fell into the Leelanagar nala near Marigold Hotel in Ameerpet.

    The man, identified as Banoth Swamy, accidentally slipped into the nala. Residents of a nearby apartment witnessed the incident and immediately informed the police. Upon receiving the alert, the police quickly contacted the DRF for help.

    Khairtabad Zonal Station Fire Officer (SFO) Mohana Rao and his team responded swiftly and arrived at the scene. They managed to rescue Swamy, who was found shivering due to the cold water.

    After the rescue, the team provided Swamy with dry clothes, tea, and breakfast to help him recover his strength.

    SFO Mohana Rao stated that Swamy was handed over to the SR Nagar police. The police took him to a hospital for a medical check-up and later admitted him to an old age home for further care.
