Police Constable Wins State Essay Competition, Brings Pride to District
In honor of Police Martyrs’ Day, observed on October 21 as Police Flag Day, a state-wide essay writing competition was organized. Armed Forces Constable Mallikarjun Naidu from Jogulamba Gadwal district secured first place in this competition, earning recognition and praise for his achievement. District SP Shri T. Srinivas Rao, IPS, personally congratulated him in his office for this outstanding accomplishment.
The competition was divided into categories based on ranks, including PC to ASI, SI, and higher ranks. The top three winners in each category were honored during the event. State DGP Shri Jitender, IPS, presented cash rewards in the form of cheques to the winners as a token of appreciation for their efforts.
Mallikarjun Naidu took first place in the PC to ASI category with his essay titled “My Role in Enhancing the Prestige of Police in Society.” For this exceptional submission, he received a cash prize of ₹25,000, which was awarded to him by the Hon’ble DGP Shri Jitender, IPS.
District SP Shri T. Srinivas Rao, IPS, expressed his delight at Naidu’s achievement, stating that his success at the state-level competition has brought immense pride to the district. He also emphasized that such accomplishments showcase the talent and dedication of officers in the force.
