In a big change on Tuesday, the Telangana government moved 20 senior IPS officers to different departments within the Police department. Ravi Gupta will remain as the DGP, a position he took over during the recent Assembly elections. Former DGP Anjani Kumar has been appointed as Chairman of the Road Safety Authority. Stephen Ravindra is now the Inspector General of Home Guards, and Mahesh Bhagwat is the Additional DGP for Railways and Road Safety. CV Anand is the new Director General of the ACB, and Rajiv Ratan is the Director General of Vigilance & Enforcement. Abhilasha Bisht is now the Director General of the State Police Academy, and Dr Soumya Mishra is in charge of Prisons and Correctional Services. Shikha Goel is the new Additional DGP CID, and Dr Anil Kumar is the Director General of the Special Protection Force. Tarun Joshi is the IGP of Multizone, Hyderabad, and VB Kamalasan Reddy is in charge of the Prohibition and Excise Wing. S Chandrasekhar Reddy is now the Inspector General of Police (Personnel), M Ramesh is the Managing Director of State Police Housing Corporation, and K Ramesh Naidu is the Deputy Inspector General of Police CID. B Sumathi is now the Deputy Inspector General of Police SIB, and Sharat Chandra Pawar is the Deputy Commissioner of Police for Central Zone in Hyderabad City.
