A big fire broke out in two shopping malls on Siddipet Road in Jangaon early Sunday morning. The fire started in Vijaya Shopping Mall and quickly spread to the nearby Sri Laxmi Mall. Officials believe the fire was caused by an electric short circuit in Vijaya Shopping Mall.

People passing by noticed smoke coming from the mall and immediately informed the police and firefighters. In response, six fire trucks were sent to the scene to try and control the fire.
