Mahindra Gold and Resorts, a part of the Mahindra group, plans to build three 5 to 7 star hotels in Visakhapatnam and two other cities. Each hotel will cost Rs 250 crore. CP Gurnani, the chairman of Mahindra Holidays and MD & CEO of Tech Mahindra, met with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to discuss the project. The construction of the hotels is expected to begin within the next two months. During the meeting, the Chief Minister shared details about the government’s efforts to promote tourism in the state. Other members of the Mahindra group, including CVS Varma, Santosh Raman, and B Jayapal, were also present at the meeting.
