Hyderabad: Women leaders from the Mahila Congress staged a protest at Nampally against K T Rama Rao, the working president of the BRS party.

The protest took place on Thursday, where the leaders burned an effigy of the former IT Minister. They were upset about his silence regarding offensive social media posts targeting Minister Konda Surekha. Additionally, the protesters were angry about his comments belittling women who use the free bus service provided by RTC.

During the protest, the women workers of the Congress party chanted slogans against KTR, accusing him of making degrading remarks about women.
