The three-day-long Mana Mahbubnagar Maha Nagara Utsavam ended on Sunday with great enthusiasm from the public. The closing ceremony took place at Shilparamam, with Mahbubnagar MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy as the chief guest.
Speaking at the event, MLA Srinivas Reddy promised to work towards making Mahbubnagar a model city with the help of the central and state governments. He stressed the need for everyone to work together for the city’s development.
As part of his vision, he announced that a week-long clean and green campaign would soon take place in the city. He encouraged residents to take responsibility for keeping their surroundings clean and to contribute to the city’s growth.
The festival witnessed a huge turnout, with around 22,000 visitors over three days. Children actively participated in various activities, showcasing their talents. MLA Srinivas Reddy also shared plans to develop Shilparamam into a center for entertainment, learning, and cultural activities.
Several officials, including MUDA Chairman Lakshman Yadav and Municipal Commissioner Maheshwar Reddy, attended the event. With the festival’s success, officials assured that they would continue working to improve the city's infrastructure and public spaces.
