Warangal: Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) Chairman, Enugala Venkatrami Reddy, has taken a stand against offensive remarks made by Maharashtra Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad (Shinde faction). On Wednesday, Reddy lodged a formal complaint with the Hanumakonda Police, asking them to take action. The complaint concerns comments made against Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha.

Gaikwad allegedly stated that he would offer a reward of Rs 11 lakh to anyone who could “chop off” Rahul Gandhi’s tongue. This was in response to a statement Gandhi made during his recent trip to the US, where he said that ending reservations in India is the “biggest lie to the public.”
