    The Government of India has launched a program called ‘Nasha Mukta Bharat Abhiyan’ to fight against drug abuse. This initiative is led by the Union Ministry of Social Justice.

    Students from the Department of Social Science at BRR Government Degree College in Jadcherla participated in this program. They took a pledge to help combat drug addiction, guided by their senior faculty member, Dr. Raghavendra Reddy.

    During the event, teachers spoke about the growing problem of drug and narcotic addiction among young people, especially students. They pointed out that drug abuse can severely affect health, damaging vital organs like the brain, liver, and kidneys, and can even be fatal.

    The program highlighted the need for everyone to work together to tackle this issue. Community involvement is essential for preventing and overcoming addiction.
