The Mahabubnagar Cricket Arena (MCA) has been opened to help young cricketers in the district. The arena is located near the new RTO office towards Raichur road. The MCA was inaugurated by Dr. V Srinivas Goud, the Sports, Excise, Prohibition, Culture and Tourism Minister. He hopes that more facilities like this will be built in the district to train young people who want to make a career in cricket.

The minister believes that there are many talented sportspeople in rural areas, but they lack proper training facilities. If more training centers are built, young people can learn and improve their skills and compete at national and international levels. After opening the MCA cricket practicing arena, the minister played cricket on the new pitch and showed his hidden batting talent. Finally, the minister congratulated the organizers of the cricket academy and wished them a good future in sports.
