Two young men were arrested by the police in Madurai for harassing a girl from Gujarat last year. The incident happened in December 2022 at a lodge in Madurai. The victim was attending a conference and rented a room at the lodge. One of the men, who was staying in the next room, took her to the hospital when she fell ill, but then he made unwanted advances towards her. The other man also harassed her. The victim reported the incident to the police, and the men were arrested and charged with a crime.
