Hyderabad celebrated the ‘Pran Prathistha’ at Ayodhya Ram Mandir with various cultural organizations, temples, voluntary groups, and people from all walks of life participating in the consecration ceremony. The city was filled with a spiritual atmosphere as Ram temples were beautifully decorated and Gau Poojas were organized throughout the day. People passing by the lanes were given Prasad, tea, and water packets. The Bhagyalaxmi temple witnessed a large number of women devotees holding saffron flags and chanting Ram Bhajans for four hours.
The entire city, including Begum Bazar, Secunderabad, and Koti, experienced this spiritual fervor. Small tents were set up in every lane and LED screens were installed for live streaming of the Pran Pratishtha. Volunteers from different cultural organizations, some dressed as Lord Rama, held special rallies at major junctions. Even residential colonies were decorated and organized special pujas, lighting them up with diyas.
Residents of Hyderabad responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call by lighting diyas in front of their houses, creating a mesmerizing feeling. Various cultural programs were also organized in the colonies. Some schools participated in the celebrations by conducting special rallies with children dressed as Lord Rama and even enacting the complete Ramayana.
