Hyderabad Cricketer TNR Mohit to Play for Arunachal Pradesh in 2024-25
Hyderabad cricketer Tadakamalla Narsing Raj Mohit, also known as TNR Mohit, is set to represent the Arunachal Pradesh Senior Men’s team as a guest player for the upcoming 2024-25 domestic cricket season. This is a significant step for the 23-year-old all-rounder, who had previously been a part of the Hyderabad Cricket Association and played in the prestigious Ranji Trophy until 2023.
Mohit began playing cricket at the young age of seven, and his talent quickly stood out. In 2018, he represented Telangana in the U-19 National School Games. His impressive performances in Hyderabad’s cricket league earned him a spot in the CK Nayudu Trophy team for the 2021-22 season.
Throughout his career, Mohit has been mentored by experienced cricket figures like former BCCI selection committee chairman MSK Prasad and Hyderabad veteran Kanwaljit Singh. Under their guidance, he developed into a skilled right-arm off-spinner and a reliable right-handed batsman.
As Mohit transitions to play for Arunachal Pradesh, his all-round abilities and leadership qualities will be valuable. He is now focused on making a broader impact in Indian domestic cricket and taking on new challenges in the upcoming season.
