    In an effort to secure a win in the MLC bypoll in Khammam-Nalgonda-Warangal graduates constituency, Congress leaders met with CPI, CPM, TJS, and key academics. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy discussed strategies to defeat their opponents and urged party representatives to rally their supporters behind Teenmar Mallanna.

    The meeting included Prof Kodandaram, MLA Kunamneni Sambhasiva Rao, Government Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, Julakanti Ranga Reddy, S Veeraiah, MLC B Mahesh Kumar Goud, Mallu Ravi, and others. The Chief Minister reportedly offered key positions in the government to Left party leaders in exchange for their support. During the Lok Sabha polls, Revanth Reddy had offered one MLC seat and two Corporation posts to CPM to withdraw their candidate from Bhongir constituency.

    After the meeting, Mahesh Kumar informed the media that the Left parties are supporting Congress and expressed confidence that Teenmar Mallanna would win the bypoll by a large margin. Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao assured support from CPI and called on party members to ensure the victory of the Congress candidate.

    TJS chief Kodandaram reiterated his party’s support for Congress and emphasized the need for change through the party. He urged party members to work towards Teenmar Mallanna’s victory. CPI leader S Veeraiah announced that his party would support Congress in the polls as part of the INDIA Alliance at the national level.
