The tension between the BJP and BRS leaders continued on Sunday after Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao failed to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s events in Hyderabad. BJP state President Bandi Sanjay Kumar shared a photo of a shawl that was meant to be presented to KCR at a public meeting at Parade Grounds. BRS leader Krishank Manne responded by suggesting that the shawl be given to Modi’s estranged wife, Jashodaben. Sanjay criticized KCR’s absence and accused his family of corruption. The BJP leader also claimed that the BRS government was hindering the development of Telangana despite the Centre’s commitment to the state’s progress.
