State Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy is demanding that the state government implement the Rs 7,500 per acre scheme under Rythu Bharosa starting from this rainy season. He expressed frustration that when asked about schemes, the Chief Minister and Ministers avoid discussing the issues.
Niranjan Reddy criticized the Congress government for not fulfilling its promise to start Rythu Bharosa from December 9. He pointed out that there has been no support for farmers, no mention of tenant farmers, and the promised Rs 500 bonus has not materialized.
The BRS leader called out the government for focusing on guidelines and restricting beneficiaries instead of fulfilling their election promises. Niranjan Reddy questioned why the CM and Ministers have not made a decision on this issue despite seven months passing.
