Leader of Opposition status granted to KCR

Former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has been recognized as the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly. Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar made the announcement in the House, stating that the Bharat Rashtra Samiti Legislature Party, with 39 members, is the main opposition party. K Chandrashekhar Rao, MLA, is now recognized as the Leader of Opposition. The announcement was made before the debate on the Motion of Thanks on Address by Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan to the legislature on Friday.
