BJP Leader Criticizes Revanth Reddy's Remarks on PM Modi
BJP Rajya Sabha member K Laxman strongly condemned Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s comments about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s caste. Speaking to the media in Karimnagar on Saturday, Laxman said that Revanth Reddy had lost his sense and was making baseless statements. He accused the Chief Minister of trying to divert public attention because the Congress government had lost people’s trust.
Laxman also criticized the caste census being conducted by the Telangana government, calling it fake. He questioned whether there was any concept of “Hindu Muslim” or “BC Muslim” anywhere in the world. He claimed that the Congress government was not sincere about the survey and was only repeating it to cover up its own failures.
According to Laxman, Congress has lost public support, including that of the Backward Classes (BCs), due to its betrayal. He stated that people were eager to teach the ruling party a lesson. He urged graduates and teachers to make a wise decision in the upcoming MLC elections and support the BJP since the Modi government was working for Telangana’s development.
Laxman appealed to voters to elect BJP MLC candidates Anji Reddy and Malka Komaraiah with first-priority votes.
