A new political front called the Samajika Telangana Political Front (STPF) is scheduled to launch on April 11 in Baghlingampally, Hyderabad. The STPF is made up of various progressive political parties, marginalized community forums and associations, and Telangana social activists who are committed to social justice and social democracy. The launch will take place at 10 am on Tuesday at the Sundaralah Vignana Kendram, with Delhi University professor Suraj Mandal and Siasat managing editor Zaheeruddin Ali Khan as chief guest and guest of honor respectively. The STPF aims to empower the neglected and deprived Backward Classes (BC), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and minorities in Telangana and transform the region into a “Samajika Telangana.” Professor K Murali Manohar is the chairman, retired IAS officer Akunuri Murali is the co-chairman, and Bongu Prasad Goud is the convenor of the STPF.
