Union Minister and Telangana State BJP chief G Kishan Reddy strongly condemned the police lathi-charge on protesting farmers and BJP workers in Nirmal district. He warned Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao that if he doesn’t address the people’s grievances and withdraw the proposed Nirmal Master Plan, he will have sleepless nights in the future.
BJP leader Maheshwar Reddy has been on a hunger strike for four days against the Nirmal Master Plan, but the government has not responded despite his deteriorating health. In response, BJP workers staged a protest at the Nirmal Bus Stand area, demanding action from the state government. However, instead of addressing the issues, the government used the police to lathi-charge the protesters, including many farmers.
Kishan Reddy urged district leaders to provide necessary treatment to the injured farmers. He criticized the government for neglecting to solve problems and instead making people’s lives and civic systems more complicated.
Kishan Reddy warned that if the government does not withdraw the Nirmal Master Plan, CM KCR will have to face sleepless nights.
