    The Shoulder Surgery Department at Sunshine Bone & Joint Institute, KIMS Sunshine Hospital in Begumpet organized a conference to showcase the latest advancements in shoulder joint replacement. The event was led by Dr. AV Gurava Reddy and featured renowned shoulder surgeon Dr. Jean Grimberg from France as the chief guest. Around 100 orthopedic surgeons were trained in new techniques during the program.

    Drs. B. Chandra Sekhar and S. Anoop Reddy from The Division of Shoulder Surgery at KIMS Sunshine Hospital shared their experiences of successfully performing shoulder joint replacements for 15 years. They highlighted the significant progress in shoulder replacement surgery over the past decade, with outcomes similar to knee joint replacement surgery.

    The doctors also discussed the use of 3-D printing technology and “Blue Print” surgery planning software to accurately determine the size and position of the new joint before surgery. These technological advancements improve surgical precision and result in better outcomes for patients.
