    1. Faisal Khan, a social activist from Old City, has been booked by the Banjara Hills police for allegedly abusing and threatening T Raja Singh, a suspended BJP leader and MLA. This comes after Singh gave an inflammatory speech during the Sri Rama Navami Shoba Yatra.

    2. A senior citizen fell into an uncovered manhole near Jama Masjid Chowki at Mahboob Chowk on Saturday night due to the negligence of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. This incident highlights the need for better maintenance and infrastructure in the city.

    3. The IIFL JITO Ahimsa Run saw over 3000 runners participate in the city run, which was flagged off by Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, and Sanjay Jain, DGP, on Sunday morning at Jalavihar on Necklace Road. This event promotes fitness and healthy living among the citizens of Hyderabad.

    4. The State government has introduced the eSNCU (special newborn care units) concept to decrease the infant mortality rate. Doctors from Niloufer Hospital will monitor the health of newborn babies in peripheral hospitals. Due to several initiatives taken up by hospitals, the State has made significant progress in improving child health and increasing immunisation coverage, leading to a decrease in infant mortality rate from 39 in 2014 to 23 in 2022.
