The Medaram Jatara is still two months away, but devotees are already flocking to pray. They are worried that if the number of corona cases increases, they won’t be able to come later. On Sunday, one lakh people visited the nymphs and offered turmeric, saffron, and jaggery to the Goddesses Sammakka and Saralamma.

However, the devotees faced difficulties due to the huge crowd and lack of arrangements. The government has allocated Rs.75 crores for the fair’s management, but no work has started yet. This has left the devotees without proper facilities.
