    Hyderabad:
Many job seekers attended the ‘Meet Your Minister’ program this time. IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu led the event, where he listened to their concerns and discussed them with the appropriate officials to find solutions.

Among those present were job aspirants for DSC and other positions, as well as youth from different districts who are eager to join the police force. They were upset about the government’s failure to address the issue of Government Order (GO) 46. This order favors youth from Hyderabad, allowing over 50% of police vacancies to be filled by people living in the city, especially in the three police Commissionerates. Those from outside Hyderabad feel they are not getting equal opportunities.

Minister Sridhar Babu assured the youth that the government is serious about solving this issue. He promised to arrange a meeting with the Chief Secretary on October 26, where representatives can openly discuss their concerns. The Minister also said the government is exploring ways to resolve the problem and reassured the group that no one will be denied their rights.

Pensioners, including those from the Aasara scheme, also voiced their grievances.
