    Tension arose near II-town police station in Khammam as BRS leader Pagadala Nagaraju was arrested and taken to court for illegally grabbing government land. BRS activists protested outside the police station but were removed by the police. Pagadala Nagaraju was then presented before the District Court judge.

    Government officials filed a complaint against corporator Pagadala Srividya and her husband, BRS city president Pagadala Nagaraju, for illegally regularizing 415 yards of government land near NSP Ram Temple. The case was registered at II-Town Police Station. Pagadala Nagaraju appeared in court and was remanded for 14 days by the district judge. Later, he was taken to the sub-jail by the police.
