    The committee members of the historic Lal Darwaza Simha Vahini Sri Mahankali Temple in Hyderabad have thanked Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for allocating ₹20 crore for the temple’s development.

    On Sunday, an emergency meeting was held at the temple office, organized by the temple committee. During the meeting, a resolution was passed expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Chandrayangutta MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi. The members celebrated by distributing sweets after the Chief Minister assured the release of funds for the temple’s development.

    During the discussion in the Assembly on Saturday, MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi emphasized the importance of allocating ₹20 crore for the renovation of the historic temple. The committee members appreciated his support in securing the funds.

    Temple committee chairman C Rajender Yadav mentioned that despite requesting funds multiple times during the previous government’s tenure, no financial support was provided. He expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for responding promptly in the Assembly and issuing a government order (GO) to allocate ₹20 crore for the temple’s reconstruction.

    The committee also announced that they would soon meet Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, District In-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Endowment Minister Konda Surekha, and other officials to personally convey their appreciation.

    Several temple committee members, including G Arvind Kumar Goud, B Maruti Yadav, A Chandra Kumar, A Vinod Kumar, C Bangla Raju Yadav, K Venkatesh, K Vishnu Goud, C Venkatesh, A Manik Prabhu Goud, Posani Vijay Kumar, C Raj Kumar Yadav, and J Lakshminarayana Goud, attended the meeting.
