New Delhi: The family members of those arrested in the Lagacharla incident visited various Commissions in New Delhi to raise concerns about “police excesses and forced land acquisition.” On Monday, tribal women approached the National Human Rights Commission, SC/ST Commission, and Women’s Commission.

They were accompanied by BRS MLC Satyavathi Rathod and other leaders from the party. The women shared disturbing details about the situation, describing what they called “oppressive measures” taken by the Telangana state government. They said that tribal women, farmers, and marginalized communities from Lagacharla were being treated unfairly due to the government’s efforts to forcibly acquire their land.
