Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has accused KT Rama Rao, the working president of BRS, of falsely claiming that the previous BRS government created assets worth Rs.50 lakh crores in the last ten years. According to Vikramarka, the previous government left Telangana in a state of debt, with the debt rising to about Rs.7 lakh crores. He criticized Rama Rao for releasing a document highlighting the accomplishments of the previous government, stating that it was shameful to claim greatness while leaving the state in debt.
Vikramarka also accused former ministers Harish Rao and KT Rama Rao of ruining the image of Telangana. He argued that any wealth created in the last ten years belongs to the people of Telangana, and now they have to work hard to pay off the debts. He further claimed that during the previous government’s tenure, the poor became poorer while the rich became richer.
The Deputy Chief Minister announced that a judicial inquiry has been ordered into the irregularities of the previous government, and actions will be taken against those involved in any misconduct.
