K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), the Chairperson of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), is currently in Delhi for a busy schedule. One of his key events is a press conference scheduled for 11 AM today. During this press meet, KTR is expected to talk about various political issues. A major topic will be the allegations surrounding the tendering process of the Amrut Yojana, a central government program focused on providing clean drinking water to urban areas.

Yesterday, KTR met with Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. During their meeting, they reportedly discussed several matters related to governance. However, KTR’s main concern seems to be the alleged corruption in the handling of the Amrut Yojana tenders.

KTR has accused Srujan Reddy, a relative of Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, of manipulating the tender process. According to KTR, Srujan Reddy has used illegal means to favour certain contractors in the bidding process.

At today’s press conference, KTR is expected to demand a full investigation into these claims. He will likely stress the need for transparency and accountability in public projects like the Amrut Yojana.
