KT Rama Rao, the Working President of BRS, warned people in Hyderabad that opposition parties would try to confuse and bribe them during elections. He advised people to accept money from these parties but to vote for BRS. Rama Rao made these remarks while addressing a gathering led by Tellam Venkat Rao, who recently joined BRS.
Rama Rao mentioned that according to the agriculture department, Telangana has transformed barren lands into fertile ones, with around one crore acres being cultivated across the state. He highlighted the progress in various sectors, including forestry, where Telangana has seen a 7% increase in forest cover. Comparing it to Chhattisgarh, Rama Rao criticized the Congress government there for not providing benefits like Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Beema, and free power to farmers. He also mentioned that Telangana has achieved widespread development, with every village having a Hanuman Temple and every household benefiting from BRS government schemes.
The BRS leader also criticized TPCC Chief A Revanth Reddy for promising only three hours of power supply. Rama Rao questioned which section of Telangana society was being discriminated against and urged people not to be swayed by false claims. He emphasized that KCR, the Chief Minister, would undertake the reconstruction of Bhadradri Ramalayam and the construction of check dams on Godavari, as he is determined to fulfill these projects. Additionally, Rama Rao highlighted the positive change in Palamuru district, which has witnessed a reversal in migration patterns.
Rama Rao urged people not to be confused by opposition parties’ attempts to buy votes and offered a simple solution: accept their money and vote for BRS. He emphasized that BRS’s support is crucial not only for the state but also for determining the next Prime Minister. He urged people to send their leader with 90 Assembly and 17 Lok Sabha seats.
Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar emphasized the importance of Khammam district in the upcoming government led by KCR. He highlighted the development that has taken place in the district over the past nine years, including the distribution of around 4 lakh acres of Podu lands. Ajay Kumar encouraged Khammam to play a significant role in the elections to ensure BRS’s success.
Finally, Ajay Kumar took a dig at Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, questioning his involvement in the Telangana agitation and his criticism of the CM’s family, including KTR and Kavitha.
