Hyderabad: KT Rama Rao, the working President of BRS, has criticized the Congress government for not fulfilling its promises. He has urged the people to stop paying their power bills starting from this month and instead send the bills to Sonia Gandhi, the AICC leader, as a protest against the failure to provide free electricity of 200 units under the Gruha Jyothi scheme.

During an address to the leaders of Hyderabad and Secunderabad Parliament constituencies at Telangana Bhavan, KTR stated that people should refuse to pay their current bills until they receive free electricity. He referenced a statement made by Revanth Reddy, who claimed that Sonia Gandhi would pay the bills once Congress came into power. KTR advised individuals to show officials Revanth Reddy’s video if they ask for payment. He also encouraged people to send their current bills to Sonia Gandhi’s residence at 10 Janpath in New Delhi.
