In Hyderabad, BRS working president KT Rama Rao criticized party leaders P Mahender Reddy and G Ranjith Reddy for joining the Congress party. He joked that they should receive an Oscar award for their acting skills. This comment was made during the Chevella Lok Sabha meeting on Friday.

Rama Rao shared an incident when he, Mahender Reddy, and Ranjith Reddy were heading to a meeting in Chevella. There were rumors about the two leaders switching to Congress. When asked to clarify, Mahender Reddy denied the allegations, stating they were not leaving BRS. However, both leaders eventually left the party. Rama Rao expressed disbelief at their actions and suggested they were putting on a show by pretending not to leave the party.
