    A new IT Park and Lithium Ion battery manufacturing park were opened in Mahbubnagar by K Taraka Rama Rao, Minister for IT, Industries and MAUD. The IT Park covers 400 acres and a 100 feet approach road from NH 44 was also inaugurated. Various junction beautification works were also completed. The Minister praised the work being done by Excise Minister Dr. V. Srinivas Goud to transform the lives of people in Palamuru region. In a public meeting, Minister Srinivas Goud expressed his anger against Congress party state president Revanth Reddy for making personal comments against the minister and his family members. He warned that if Congress chief calls OBCs and other backward classes unfit for politics, he will face the wrath of these communities. Both ministers spoke about the development works and welfare schemes launched by the state government and expressed hope that the IT park and Amar Raja Batteries company would provide over 50,000 jobs to the youth in the district.
