Hyderabad Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K T Rama Rao laid the foundation for five different bridges across the Musi river. These bridges will be popular for film shootings, just like DurgamCheruvu in the city. The government plans to build a total of 15 bridges over the Musi to ease traffic congestion and improve road connectivity. The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) is responsible for constructing five of these bridges, which will be completed by the end of 2024. The GHMC is also building one bridge, and the Hyderabad Road Development Corporation Ltd (HRDCL) is constructing another bridge.

Rao mentioned that previous governments neglected the Musi river, leading to its unhygienic condition. However, the current State government is working on beautification and development projects along the Musi from Manchirevula to Ghatkesar. The bridges will not only improve road connectivity but also add beauty to the region. Rao highlighted recent road infrastructure development in Nagole, LB Nagar, and Bairamalguda areas. Additionally, he mentioned plans for Metro connectivity service from Nagole to LB Nagar and PeddaAmberpet near ORR.
