KTR also mentioned that five defense ministry officials have been appointed from time to time for the construction of skyways and skywalks. He expressed his gratitude for Rajnath Singh’s personal involvement in the matter. Hyderabad is a rapidly expanding city in India, particularly in the IT field. It is witnessing significant growth and has become a key city for IT employment, with 44% of IT jobs coming from Hyderabad alone. It has also emerged as a crucial city in the fields of pharma, biotech, IT, aerospace, and defense.

KTR requested the central government to provide 96 acres of land for the construction of skyways under the D.P.R (Detailed Project Report) from Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) to Rajiv Rahadari. He urged the government to allot land for this purpose. The construction of two skyways and D.P.R has been approved by HMDA (Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority). KTR also mentioned that Hyderabad Global Hub has been established for vaccine production. It has become a major hub for pharmaceuticals, biotech, IT, aerospace, and defense.

KTR further requested Rajnath Singh to issue advertisements regarding four specific matters. He highlighted that Hyderabad is not receiving any financial assistance from the central government for its development in 2020. He emphasized the need for financial aid for the overall progress of the city. KTR also requested the allocation of land for the construction of skyways and skywalks to further develop and expand Hyderabad.

The construction of skyways and skywalks is underway in Uppal and skyways have been completed in Uppal as well. The construction work will commence this Monday. Skyways are also being constructed in Mehdipatnam near Rythu Bazaar. Unfortunately, there are defense lands in that area, and acquiring an acre of land is necessary for this purpose. The central minister has been requested to provide the land immediately. Additionally, new elevated link roads are being planned in Hyderabad. A total of 142 link roads are being considered in the plan, and defense lands have been acquired for two or three corridors. Permission is also being sought for these lands.

KTR concluded by expressing his hope that the Defense Minister will review these matters favorably and grant the necessary permissions for the construction of skyways and skywalks in Hyderabad.
