Hyderabad: BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi) working President, KT Rama Rao, criticized Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for the decline in state revenues. He pointed out that there has been a significant drop in Hyderabad’s real estate market, which is affecting the overall revenue of the state.
In his statement, KT Rama Rao accused the Chief Minister of failing to safeguard Hyderabad, which is considered the economic hub of Telangana. He blamed the CM for creating fear among the public with actions like bulldozer politics and property demolitions under the HYDRA initiative.
Rao further highlighted that Hyderabad’s real estate sector has collapsed within just two months, leading to a sharp decline in property registrations and a decrease in revenue. He questioned Revanth Reddy’s ability to manage the state’s financial situation, asking the CM to at least protect existing revenue streams if he cannot create new ones.
