Nalgonda: DCC president Kethavath Shankar Naik and party town president Gummula Mohan Reddy have strongly criticized BRS working president K T Rama Rao (KTR) over his recent remarks during the farmers’ protest in Nalgonda.

Speaking to the media, the Congress leaders accused the BRS government of failing to deliver on its promises during its ten years in power. They alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) ran a dictatorial regime and claimed that no houses were built for the people as promised. They also accused KCR and KTR of misusing state funds in the name of various projects and questioned KTR’s statements, calling them irrational and desperate attempts after losing public trust.

Shankar Naik pointed out that the BRS government had once removed the Dharna Chowk, a key protest site, to suppress the voices of farmers and other groups fighting for their rights. He further accused the government of stalling and exploiting multiple projects over the past decade instead of benefiting the people.
