Hyderabad: The BRS Working President, KT Rama Rao, criticized the Congress party and its leader A Revanth Reddy in Telangana. He accused the Congress party of being led by a thief who was previously involved in the ‘vote for note’ case.
During his visit to Nalgonda and Suryapet, Rao inaugurated IT Towers and participated in various development programs. He stated that the same person was selling seats/tickets at different prices to leaders. Rao warned that if this person comes to power, he will eventually sell Telangana state. He also criticized Congress leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy for not doing anything for Nalgonda, even though he served as a Minister in the Congress Government.
Rao expressed concerns about six guarantees promised by the Congress party. He claimed that if Congress were to govern, there would be a three-hour power supply per day, a change of Chief Minister every year, and numerous scams in the state. He emphasized that electing Congress would lead to a power crisis. Rao praised Chief Minister KCR for providing pensions to senior citizens, widows, and physically challenged individuals, which other state governments fail to do.
In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comment about BRS being a family party, Rao clarified that BRS represents four crore people in Telangana, and CM KCR is the head of this family. He highlighted the initiatives taken by CM KCR in supporting the elderly and farmers, emphasizing his role as a son and brother to the people of Telangana.
Regarding the accusation of dynasty politics by BJP leaders, Rao explained that BRS follows the ideology of historical figures such as Queen Rani Rudrama Devi from the Kakatiya dynasty and revolutionary leader Komaram Bheem. He also mentioned the work done by BRS for the upliftment of weaker sections and prioritizing education.
Lastly, Rao criticized PM Modi’s statement about CM KCR not waiving off farm loans in Telangana. He clarified that CM KCR has waived off farm loans twice in the state and urged the Prime Minister not to make baseless comments.
In summary, KT Rama Rao criticized the Congress party, defended BRS against allegations of dynasty politics, and praised CM KCR for his initiatives in Telangana.
