Former minister and BRS MLA KTR criticized the Congress party for making unrealistic promises before the elections to gain power. He accused the newly formed Congress government in Telangana of deceiving the people.
KTR pointed out that only BRS knows the effort they put into waiving off debt in the previous government, and Rahul Gandhi’s promise of loan waiver during the Telangana election campaign was unrealistic. He mentioned that within two days of coming to power, Congress promised to waive off Rs 2 lakh debt of farmers. KTR stated that BRS will be watching to see if this promise is fulfilled. He also reminded that Congress promised to provide Rs.15,000 to farmers within ten days.
KTR objected to the ministers’ comments about releasing a white paper on Telangana’s economic situation. He reminded everyone that the BRS government has released audit reports to the media every year for the past nine years. He questioned why these audit reports are not considered a white paper. KTR criticized the Congress party and the Revanth Reddy government for targeting BRS and claiming that they have burdened the state with debts.
KTR emphasized the need to examine the CAG reports and audit reports on the state’s financial situation and take appropriate action. He commented that the Congress party made promises before coming to power but is now making calculations. KTR remarked that the real challenge begins for the Congress rulers now.
