Hyderabad:
BRS working President KT Rama Rao has said that the Congress Party is facing internal issues in Kodangal, which is the constituency of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
KTR, during a meeting at his residence in Nandinagar, called for unity among BRS members to defeat the Congress in Kodangal, no matter when the local elections are held. In this meeting, nearly 100 Congress members from Kodangal decided to join the BRS.
He pointed out that a rebellion against the Congress government has started in Kodangal. KTR also mentioned that Revanth Reddy, who had earlier strongly opposed the Pharma City project, is now supporting the creation of a pharma village in Kodangal. This has led to unhappiness among the local people.
Additionally, KTR criticized Congress Ministers for taking leisure trips while Telangana is facing protests and road blockades from Adilabad to Alampur. He accused Congress leaders of using their power for personal gain, saying that while Telangana’s revenue is going down, the income of Congress leaders is rising.
KTR also accused the Congress of misusing the State government’s helicopter for election campaigns in other states, calling it a clear abuse of power.
