Hyderabad: BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) urged party members on Monday to step up their fight against the Congress government in Telangana. He accused the ruling party of mismanagement and corruption. In his New Year message, KTR praised the hard work of party workers over the past year in exposing the alleged failures of the Congress regime. He promised to continue the fight until justice is served to the people of Telangana.
KTR expressed gratitude to the party cadre, saying, “The relentless spirit you have displayed over the past year has strengthened the party and inspired the leadership. Your unwavering efforts are the backbone of our movement to protect Telangana’s interests.”
Highlighting some of the key protests organized by the party, KTR mentioned the alleged “corruption in the Musi project” and the “Lagacharla farmers struggle.” He said these efforts demonstrated the party’s dedication to the welfare of Telangana’s people.
KTR also pointed out significant outcomes of the BRS protests. He noted that their efforts led to the reversal of a Rs 100 crore Adani-linked project and forced the government to abandon its plans for an ethanol factory in Nirmal. These actions, according to KTR, reflect the party’s commitment to holding the government accountable and protecting public interests.
