Hyderabad: The BRS working president, KT Rama Rao, has criticized the Congress government, calling its first year in office a “Dhoka Nama Samvatsaram” (year of betrayal). He accused the Congress administration of failing to fulfill key promises, particularly those concerning crop loan waivers and assurances to farmers. According to KTR, farmers have lost confidence due to the government’s actions, and he alleged that it is attempting to scrap the Rythu Bharosa scheme by introducing several conditions.

KTR further stated that ongoing welfare schemes have been mismanaged under the Congress regime. He also raised concerns about the government’s failure to implement 42% reservations for Backward Classes (BC) in local body elections. Accusing the Congress of exploiting legal loopholes and delaying justice through the courts, he declared that the BRS would expose these alleged wrongdoings through public movements during the upcoming local body elections.
