KT Rama Rao, the working president of BRS, compared the progress of the Uppal flyover and skyways to highlight the difference between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. While the State government completed the skyways, the Centre’s Uppal flyover is still under construction. Rama Rao made these remarks during a meeting with booth-level activists in support of candidate Bandari Lakshma Reddy.
Rama Rao criticized the lack of progress by the Central government and accused the local MP of neglecting the people’s problems. He also blamed Jawaharlal Nehru for merging Telangana with Andhra Pradesh and causing the death of many youth. However, Rama Rao emphasized that Telangana achieved a separate state by standing up to the Delhi rulers.
Rama Rao urged the public not to believe the promises made by politicians from Delhi and emphasized the importance of informing voters about the government’s achievements. He encouraged party members to meet voters multiple times and explain the party’s schemes. Lakshma Reddy, the candidate, highlighted the government’s investment of Rs 2500 crores in the Uppal constituency and called for continued development under the BRS party. He urged party leaders to spread the manifesto of ‘KCR Bharosa’ to more people and promised to work hard for five years if elected.
