    Thieves broke into a house in Kotra village, Veldanda mandal, Nagar Kurnool district on Saturday midnight. The victim, Balachandramma, reported that 10 tolas of silver, two tolas of gold, and 17,000 cash hidden in the Almarah were stolen from her house near the chicken farm.

    The victim had locked her house and left for another town when the robbery took place. It appears that the thieves target locked houses in the area. The police have arrived at the scene to gather evidence from the clues team and CCTV footage.

    A case has been registered by the police, who are currently investigating the matter.
